09 Oct Volunteers Needed for Elkmont (No October Monthly Meeting)

There will be NO monthly meeting in October due to a service opportunity instead.

While one PAR team is currently deployed in New Orleans, we have another great opportunity to serve locally this Thursday and Friday afternoon.

A family near Elkmont needs our help with flood damage. Here are our plans:

  • Oct 14, 3:00 p.m. – Leave the PAR warehouse
  • Oct 14, 4:00 p.m. – Begin work in Elkmont
  • Oct 15, 12:00 p.m. – Leave the PAR warehouse
  • Oct 15, 1:00 p.m. – Begin work in Elkmont

 
We only have one truck available due to the Hurricane Ida deployment so you may need to drive your personal vehicle. The address is 22834 Shipley Hollow Road, Elkmont, AL 35620, if you prefer to drive directly to the work site.

No experience is necessary. All tools, gloves and safety masks will be provided. Even if you can work only an hour or two either day, your help would be greatly appreciated.
