06 Aug Volunteers Needed for Kentucky August 14-28

1. TWO KENTUCKY TRIPS

We have two trips planned to help in eastern Kentucky starting August 14 through August 28. We’ll be partnering with God’s Pit Crew in Whitesburg, KY. Mercy Chefs will be there to provide food.

If you’re available to go, please reply to these two questions to today’s PAR email:

1) What days are you available for either Trip 1 beginning August 14, or Trip 2 beginning August 21? (Note: you do not have to stay a full week.)

2) Will you drive your own vehicle or will you ride in the PAR truck?

2. WEEKEND TEAM

Please be in prayer for the small team traveling today to Kentucky for a few days.

They are meeting an urgent request to restore washed out driveways for homeowners whose vehicles are still trapped and can’t get to the road.

3. MONTHLY MEETING

We hope you can attend our monthly meeting this Thursday night, August 11, at 6 p.m. at the PAR warehouse to discuss the Kentucky trips, our upcoming 2022 Golf Tournament September 23, and to hand out golf brochures.

If you’ve already collected door prizes for the tournament, please bring them Thursday night.
